Guests value the spacious layout and owner's hospitality, but recent stays highlight persistent cleanliness issues: ants, mold on ceilings, and a broken toilet. Older furniture and failing air conditioning suggest maintenance has slipped.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
Five-star reviewers praise the owner's friendliness and flexibility with late checkouts. Rooms are clean and cool enough for sleep; a grocery store and breakfast shop sit nearby. One guest faced severe overheating in the kitchen and bedrooms despite AC, finding the house uncomfortably hot. A booking cancellation sparked dispute over a RM50 deposit; the owner later refunded it after pressure.
Families and groups find genuine peace here: the village location is genuinely quiet, rooms are clean and spacious, and the price sits right for what you get. The property shines for multi-day family events and celebrations. Check-in can be slow and requires patience. Water pressure is unpredictable, and if you're bringing large gatherings, power outlets and entertainment gear need planning ahead.
